July 17, 2018 Advisory Specialist - Fraser Valley MLA Canada is hiring for the position of Advisory Specialist for our Fraser Valley office.



We offer you an exciting and challenging work environment as an Advisory Specialist (full-time) focusing on the Fraser Valley. You will join Western Canada’s largest and premier real estate marketing organization, McNeill Lalonde & Associates (MLA Canada). You will report to the Director of Advisory and Managing Director of the Fraser Valley to collaborate on a variety of projects at varying stages in their life cycle. This position will be based out of our Fraser Valley office in Willoughby but must have flexibility to work and commute Downtown.

Our Fraser Valley Advisory Specialist will analyze and understand the real estate market, particularly as it relates to the residential industry and new construction multi-family projects. You will be expected to compile, analyze, and communicate real estate trends to like-minded industry professionals and colleagues. Depending on your experience and knowledge, your core responsibilities will be but not limited to:

  • Responsible for tracking residential real estate projects in but not limited to the following markets: Surrey, White Rock, Maple Ridge, Langley, Abbotsford, Chilliwack
  • Regular site visits to understand the marketplace and gather data on various projects
  • Collect and analyze data to create market intelligence reports that assist clients and internal teams
  • Monitor residential land transactions and development applications and identify opportunities to our business development team
  • Ability to asses and analyze floorplans and architectural plans
  • Attend client meetings when necessary to present market data and communicate findings
  • Assist with the execution of key documents relating to all areas of the Corporation’s service offering
  • Be an ambassador of McNeill Lalonde & Associates (MLA Canada) inside and outside of our offices


  • 2-4 years of experience in real estate or related field
  • Relevant education (Certificate/Diploma/Degree) from a recognized institute
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications
  • Able to analyze, interpret, and communicate trends in the market in a confident manor
  • Energetic and professional. Natural at developing relationships and working with clients and colleagues
  • An amazing attention to detail with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to produce results independently while maintaining a positive team environment
  • Time-management skills working under pressure with multiple projects and timelines
  • Valid BC driver’s license with access to a vehicle
