WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

We offer you an exciting and challenging work environment as a Corporate Marketing Director (full‐time) at our Downtown Vancouver office and collaborating on a variety of projects at varying stages in its lifecycle.

Our Corporate Marketing Director will be an integral role leading and supporting our Communications team. This role is a terrific opportunity to help this newly merged yet established real estate company release a new brand to the marketplace, and establish, develop and manage it ongoing especially as we enter new markets. You will be supported with exceptional talent including PR, social media, media strategy and events roles and will need to work closely with the team. You will be a go‐getter who is great at relationship building and business strategies as we look to propel and grow the division. You are a strong leader who believes in empowering and growing people, have a supportive style but also not afraid to make decisions. You have a strong understanding of how our marketing activities relate and can lead a team in a positive and effective manner. You will need to develop, manage and execute all activities of the corporate marketing plan while strategically leading the division and depending on experience and interest, responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Develop, manage and execute corporate marketing plans, including our rebrand, locally and in other markets
  • Develop and manage corporate marketing budget
  • Execute and support corporate marketing activities including internal initiatives
  • Lead, inspire and support the Communications team responsible for media, events, PR and social media for our projects. This includes mentoring, challenging, supporting, and managing the team of 5+ – regular reporting, check‐ins, reviews, professional development, managing budgets, streamlining and integrating processes and systems
  • Provide guidance, support and strategies to acquire new business and propel the division forward
  • Be an ambassador of MLA Canada inside and outside of our offices

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • 7+years of experience in marketing and a minimum of 2 years managing direct reports
  • Relevant marketing or business education (Certificate/Diploma/Degree) from a recognized institute
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications. Experience with Asana, Smartsheets, and Office365 an asset.
  • Ability to project manage like a superstar!
  • Ability to produce results independently while maintaining a positive team environment
  • Energetic and professional. Natural at developing relationships and working with clients and colleagues
  • A keen attention to detail with an ability to thrive in a fast‐paced environment
  • A great communicator with strong organization skills
  • Time‐management skills working under pressure with multiple projects and timelines
  • Strong leadership skills including interpersonal and social skills
  • You are confident, articulate and self‐motivated and excel in team environments
