WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

We offer you an exciting and challenging work environment as a Sales Operations Manager (SOPM) at our Downtown Vancouver office. You will report to the VP Sales Operations and collaborate on an array of items. The role of the SOPM is to provide support to the VP Sales Operations in developing and executing on strategic operational growth items within the Sales Department. The SOPM works alongside various departments, including: Sales, Administration, and Marketing, to drive operational efficiencies and ensure consistency among messaging and processes.

 

Depending on your experience and knowledge, your core responsibilities will be, but not limited to:

  • Support the Sales Leadership team in creating a talent pipeline of A-Players through involvement with onboarding, training and developing a team of sales consultants within the MLA Sales Force
  • Responsible for leading administration and management of Sales Force scheduling and staff planning across all MLA programs
  • Responsible for overseeing onsite daily operations of MLA Sales Force, acting as a resource for information on MLA Sales Operations best practices and processes, and holding teams accountable
  • Lead in coordination and execution of Sales Force onboarding (coordinating and training) for new consultants to ensure their successful integration into MLA
  • Support the VPSO and Sales Leaders in on-site training, process and system development, brand quality control, on-site execution, sales team performance and understanding of systems and processes, along with a regular review of all the above. 
  • Work alongside the VPSO with build out, scheduling and hosting MLA’s training program sessions with the sales force and assist with the development and continuous updates of MLA’s training program.
  • Provide support to Sales Team to ensure they have the tools necessary to perform their role
  • Be an ambassador of MLA Canada inside and outside of our offices
  • Facilitate and lead various training sessions for MLAs sales force software platforms. As well as be available as a resource to the Sales Team, MLA Team, and Clients to assist and troubleshoot any questions or concern
  • Be intimately familiar with Sales Operations processes including daily management and oversight of our CRM, and Avesdo our inventory management software platform, and actively provide recommendations to continually improve systems to create better user experiences for MLA and our Clients.
  • Assist with the development and execution of strategic initiatives and all operational items that relate to the Sales department.
  • Assist with the development and execution of MLA’s sales and marketing platform and customization of CRM to MLA Sales Programs under the guidance of VPSO
  • Assist with the development, implementation, and execution of Sales Department Priorities
  • Foster strong relationships with individuals in the Sales Department, and various departments in the organization, to ensure buy-in and a cohesive working environment
  • Be available as a resource to the Sales Team, MLA Team, and Clients to assist and troubleshoot any questions or concerns within MLAs sales force software platforms, and internal processes

REQUIREMENTS

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • 3+ years of experience at minimum at Coordinator or Specialist level role, with preference for real estate or real estate project marketing experience
  • Experience with developing or overseeing training programs, ideally sales operations best practices
  • Technologically sound, and comfortable with supporting various databases and systems. Experience with CRMs and Contract Management Systems would be considered an asset.
  • Relevant education (Certificate/Diploma/Degree) from a recognized institute
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, and comfortable with utilizing software such as AVESDO, HUBSPOT and iSpring.
  • Ability to produce results independently while maintaining a positive team environment
  • Extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills
  • An amazing attention to detail with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with recruitment and onboarding is an asset
  • Time-management skills working under pressure with multiple projects and timelines
