Much has been said about the strong summer real estate market in Vancouver. This past July we saw record numbers of real estate sales, primarily in the re-sale area of the market. August numbers are also expected to be strong.
The nice things about being in the business of marketing and selling real estate is the reality that our expanding population will continue to need homes in which to live.
A great deal of ink has hit newsprint of late regarding South East False Creek and Olympic Village. Some of it very positive, some of it very negative.

The City of Vancouver is collaborating with the Vancouver Art Gallery and Vancouver 2010 Cultural Olympiad on spectacular public art project throughout the winter games. What is public art? And, more importantly, why is it important?

I read an article once that said “watch the home designs in print and television ads and in 3 to 5 years that will be the predominant home style you will start to see under construction.“ I was very excited by this article because I can’t stand what is happening to our city these days.
I didn’t want to be the one to break the bad news, but the Olympics are officially over, and as disheartening and daunting as it may seem, it’s time to part with the token red hoody and Canada flag hanging in your window.
